The progressor is a wireless load sensor that can be used with any free hanging training grip and a smartphone to get accurate load readings. The idea behind the progressor is to use a grip that is so tiny that the user is not able to lift the body off the ground with one arm. In this way, we can measure the applied load.

It can e.g. be used to measure endurance, peak force or rate of force development. Or if you wonder how far you are from doing that one arm pull up, you can use the Progressor to measure how much help you need from the supporting arm. By testing your strength on a regular basis you can see how you progress.

The sampling rate is 5Hz for endurance and peak load tests and 80Hz for RFD test. Design load 150kg (F.S). Safe overload 120%F.S. Limit overload 150%F.S. Precision 0.1%F.S. Non-linearity 0.1%F.S. Repeatability 0.1%F.S. Hysteresis 0.1%F.S. The load cell is calibrated at 0 and 63 kg.

    Nice device with great potential. It would be more useful if the App allowed an Endurance session that lasted more than 6 seconds. Up to 90s at least. I also could not save Endurance Sessions because you can’t access the Save button behind the Keyboard in iOS.

      Thanks for your feedback. It is possible to run endurance tests up to 120 seconds by setting the desired time before starting the test. However, it can be related to the same bug as you report for data saving. We will address this in the next update.

    I use this thing every day. Instead of setting up a hangboard at home, and having a pully and/or weights, I just use this little guy, attached to a sling at the top of a doorway. I can load each hand, 1 at a time, with 70-90 lbs depending on the edge. This gets me a pretty good range and simulates hanging at bodyweight + weight, 1 arm at a time. Great for travel too. I even attach my therabands to the progressor, so i can have a vague idea of how much force i’m applying with those. It makes it possible to slowly progress in a controlled way with therabands instead of just guessing. ANY extra information I can get while training goes a long way, and this device helps a LOT.
